With Spot & Find treasure chests we are adding a playful layer to the map. From time to time we hide a real or digital treasure chest somewhere in the Netherlands or another country.
When an activity goes live, the app shows a pop-up on the map so users instantly know something special can be found.
How it works
You do not need to keep searching manually. As soon as a chest becomes active, we surface it with a clear map notification.
That keeps the feature fun and surprising without making it confusing for people who just opened the app.
Why we added it
Spot & Find is not only about practical places. It is also about the feeling that there is always something unexpected left to discover.
Treasure chests turn an ordinary walk or city trip into a small adventure.
