Calm is part of the spot
At birdwatching locations, the experience depends heavily on behaviour. A place can be perfect, but loud talking, moving too close or leaving paths makes it worse for everyone.
That is why we describe not only where to stand, but also how to approach the place. A hide or distant edge is often better than the closest possible point.
Timing and season
Morning hours are often calm and active, but not every species or location works the same way. Migration, nesting season, water level and weather all matter.
Add seasonal information when you know it. A short note like "especially strong in April and May" is already more useful than a marker alone.
Share responsibly
Not every sensitive observation needs an exact public location. Sometimes it is better to share a general viewing point while keeping rare-species details careful.
Spot & Find is about discovery, but also protection. Good content helps people enjoy places without pushing them out of balance.
